The Story

Twin Citizen is a four-piece indie rock band out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Funk, alternative, synth, and progressive textures run underneath songs built to connect, the kind you feel in your chest in a packed room.

Adam Lifto calls it "Organic Atari Music." Joe Hartley puts it a different way: Radiohead and the Red Hot Chili Peppers covering Pink Floyd. However you describe it, every song still sounds like Twin Citizen.

The band came together in 2021 chasing one idea: make music that is honest and a little adventurous, then play it like it matters. They have shared stages across the Twin Cities and earned features in Woodbury Magazine, Voyage Minnesota, and more.

Right now they are heads-down on their most ambitious work yet, a self-recorded, self-produced full-length tracked in a studio they built themselves. New singles are on the way, with the record targeted for 2027.
